To modernise ageing mechanical infrastructure and improve energy performance, Allworks was engaged to upgrade the mechanical plant at 22 Giffnock Avenue. The upgrade involved installing two high capacity Actron commercial units and integrating them into the site’s Building Management System (BMS).

A full audit of the existing plant and services was conducted to identify risk, with a clear phasing strategy implemented to avoid system downtime. The two new units were craned into position and commissioned with live switchover to ensure uninterrupted air delivery to tenanted zones.

Allworks coordinated closely with building managers, consultants, and contractors to meet strict safety, noise, and vibration criteria. Final commissioning included balancing, performance testing, and compliance documentation.

The upgrade delivered improved energy efficiency, reduced maintenance costs, and enhanced comfort levels, completed on time, with zero tenant disruption, and full BMS control integration.
